iOS 6 out next month

So Apple's sold out developer conference starts next month. Its where Apple holds workshops, talks and releases the update of its iOS to developers so they can test it and develop apps ready for when a new iPhone releases later in the year when iOS 6 will probably officially launch.

Some of the things iOS 6 will have make sense like Siri leaving Beta and developers being allowed to use it in their apps. Better iCloud integration in apps will probably also feature along with closer ties to macs but one of the features I recently heard mentioned got me interested. It's multiple users. If you have an iPhone, iPod or iPad they all are linked to one Apple ID. This is fine for an iPhone but annoying for a lot of iPad users. Lend it to anyone and they have access to all your emails, apps, contacts, browsing history, etc. if you live with someone they have probably used your iPad at some stage and unlike a laptop you can't easily switch user. Allowing muliple users will really help the iPad with this "post PC" era were hearing a lot about.


With the huge launch of Windows 8 later this year this puts iOS under pressure. So what features would you like to see in the next update of iOS.

Awesome, i just jailbreak my iphone with iOS 5.1 (and its tethered not even untethered) and now 6 is coming .... how many iOS they will release ...... :'(

I think new Music & Video native App.. New Design Actually, as old one is pretty old..

Widgets would be there i assume, Widgets does a lot for me being an Android User too.
A little more Customizability.. More than before.

I don't think SIRI will leave Beta soon, it got a long way to go [hmmm]
Though i think faster execution of code would be Great :unsure: Not consuming More processing power & saving the battery

Good points. I agree some of the existing native apps are getting old looking now. For example that native Weather App is very old and could do with a decent update or redesign.
