It's not hacking, it's skidding, he most likely downloaded a tool coded by somebody else and spread it over the warez scene, the guy is a script kiddy.

As I said, the amount of password stealers going around lately is unreal, and too many skiddies are getting a hold of them. But don't worry, with luck the anti-sec movement will put an end to it. :)

+1 on that. bittorrent is the safest option for downloading software now.. well, next to actually buying it lol

@Moby Master: you should always test software on a VM before doing anything with it, not on your actual system. especially keygens.

Stop calling it hacking! It is not hacking, god you piss me off more than the skid. :D

Format your PC, or the stealer will still probably be running.
You could also try sniffing his ftp user/pass with wireshark, but most skid tools are sniffer-protected nowadays, could code your own sniffer though, that would beat it. :P

It isn't hacking? lol

not really, people who steal passwords like this are not smart enough to call themselves hackers, as they probably dont even know how to code basic things like html xD... just call them password stealers, hackers are in a whole different league. imho you can only call someone a hacker if they know how to code in 5 or more languages lol...
