@newpornup and everyone who's being suspended in last two days, I apologize for inconvenience, so here's drop of an official statement:
Dear users,
As most of you (banned ones) are working with torrent or other type of leeching sites that brings a lot of proxy traffic, most of ad networks do not count those traffic sources as regular ones and do not pay for those. Therefore, we're unable to pay for that traffic and we will be forced to suspend your accounts. We do still trying to pay for users who bring those traffic, but it's being a very hard even with a bunch of pops and banners, we're still going to minus because of that traffic. Users who were being able to get cleaned by our fraud detection system will be able to use it while suspended accounts are those which has more than 50% unpaid traffic and we can't provide them any future use of our system.
We thought that our "free for all" traffic system will be able to work for everyone and you will be able to covered by our advertising system, but it's clearly that we can't. So please, understand that we can't provide you payments for something we're not being paid of.
I hope you all understand and we're sorry for any inconvenience, so here's a new rule:
ALL NEW MEMBERS ARE PROHIBITED FROM USING OUR AFFILIATE SYSTEM IF THEIR MAIN TRAFFIC IS FROM TORRENT-TYPE SITES.
Those who still have torrent traffic but not being banned, all of you will be receiving a balance deduction.
Once again, we're very sorry for this move, but that's the only way that we can ensure that our affiliates with quality traffic being paid in full.
If you have any questions or you haven't understand this statement, don't hesitate to ask.

I guess you guys are the only one in the whole PPC Business that I've seen is SCARED of torrent traffic and I guess you don't know that majority of traffic comes from there.There are hundreds of uploaders out there who are having their own host and using so many PPC Networks that are not SCARED of torrent traffic like you mentioned about yours PPC. Check one of the top notch site like TPB which has been / is blocked in so many countries but still users access them via Proxy and so do the porn users and almost ever porn uploader there has their own host and using them for years. Some of them which I know very well haven't faced the issue you said at all.
You should stay on the so called features you mentioned or said when you started this host and should stay on them. Don't be like we saw pc.re host who just disappeared with a spell coz of $#!T lack of assets as per them.

We're not scared of torrent traffic, but we simply can't afford to pay someone for something we don't get paid of. Your argument needs to be passed to the advertising networks, not to me. If those networks pay regularly those traffic, we would be happy to bring back torrent users to us.
Also, we're not PPC network, but CPM image host and if I'm scare of let's call it "pirate" traffic, I wouldn't open this host in first place. I believe you'll understand why.

You should know that many paid image host allow traffic from torrent sites.
Suddenly banning user from using img.yt just because your statement above, was not a good choice, stop view counts from their image and give an explanation would be great, so they will use img.yt for another sites that you allowed.
Many uploader will use image host services that allows all traffic, and you should have khow the uploader of torrent file was working quite hard to get their traffic and real people will do "click" to view images
And for your statement, i'm sure most of that uploader will not using img.yt anymore

leneeth - I do not ban users because of torrent traffic, I'm simply blocking their affiliate income instead of banning whole account. You can still upload images and publish them to torrent sites, but you won't get paid for.
And my statement is not the reason for suspension. The main reason for suspension is because advertisers are marking torrent traffic as junk and almost pay nothing for it.
IMG.YT was never and will never be oriented to only one type of traffic. There were only two choices left if we would like to continue the business and pay to our affiliates:
- Downgrade all tier levels (first one from $6 to $5, second to $1.1 and third and fourth leave) or
- Suspend affiliate accounts - meaning users will not be able to earn money from torrent traffic
First choice was never even considered because I'm not going to downgrade CPM because one type of traffic and lose the users who bring quality traffic, so that's why I've chosen second option.
As previously promised, I will be opening a new host with lower rates but which will accept torrent traffic.
I'm saying this again and I mean it - I'm very sorry for this move, but that was the only way to ensure that members with quality traffic is being paid.

P.S. You're quite right - most of affiliate hosts do allow, but most of them are vanishing by night or constantly decreasing their rates. I'm not going to vanish or decrease rates just because I'm getting poor traffic quality and not getting paid for that traffic. I will simply cut that type of traffic and continue working as usual.

Most payments are completed. Others will be completed on Thursday/Friday. Sorry for delay.

We're going to suspend most of torrenting users, so don't bother to create new account because every account is being reviewed (mostly when you request payment, but also it's monitored daily).

my affiliate account has been suspended today you didnot sent any notification about torrent traffic and the website no where mention about the torrent trafic as i told you before your website get down my affliated account have 12$ why don't you pay that or even half the amount bcoz mostly my traffic come from facebook or imgur i see this wjuction thread after getting suspended

you cannot implement new rules out of nowhere, if we knew this earlier then we should have stopped using it and wont complained about it...
pay us the remainder usd that we deserve from your website, the days we spent using your host which we could have used another host and get paid for it... i had 18-20 dollars in your account when u suspended my account...
