If somebody is bothered and has the time they should reply with a very simple image. eg the Katz image button and upload it to each of the image hosts mentioned in this thread but don't post it anywhere else. It would be really cool in eg. 6 months when this topic get's randomly bumped to see which are still alive. I know it's no good to the original poster but would be a cool experiment.

the simplest way to know for sure that your images will be safe is to host them yourself...
I'm sure all these hosts are good, but ultimately I would never trust them. I'm happy to put faith in myself though. If something happens then at least I know where the fault lies.
