Youtube + facebook can be a powerful tool. Create a facebook page, put a link at the top of the forum to your facebook page and ask people to subscribe.

Instead of sending out news letters, post updates on your faceobok page, and left facebook syndicate the post out to your subscribers.

When you post a link to a youtube video on facebook, facebook will embed the video on your page. If you have a link in the video description at youtube, you get that link in your facebook post as well.

One of my videos. I used to audio swap feature on youtube for the background music, so no worries about copyright infringement

Well if we just follow up in a steps wise step manner , then we can get the things go well and can make Wj improve alots ...

* Try to add some verifications steps for adding real webmasters something like some code or something to verify there sites... that may get less spamming.

* Add Connecting buttons to Social Sites so that the starter new users can connect and register by connecting there social accounts ;) this will really kinda help in improving the registering rate.

* Mark Inappropriate words as censored ... as there are lots of people who just can't talk without speaking those words :|

* Make some rules in Chatbox ... damm people behave like illiterate there

Well in order to get the best place on web world , and improving the site , we need to first reframe the rules and regulations , make members to understand that this sites refers to them , they r only one who can help Wj to get improved , not by questioning on others , or saying **** words to Mods , or something , there are many case in front of me , for which mods ban people and those people make New id's to get in , well best ways to get the really deserving ban by ip :| and please don't ban them who just did some foolish mistake and can be understandable .

Damm guys got mad when some girl is on SB , like i seen when Mindy is on sb , there r atleast 2 or 3 people get banned because of her :| as they gone mad or wht when talking to a girl , or don't have sense to talk :| ..

Thats all my concern is with ;)

Dnt make this website junction for warez site only,

Make this common junction for webmasters of different niche.

Basically Rick said everything I wanted for me. Especially on a new design. I believe WJunction should have a light & dark, but we had this same skin for years, or even make edits to it.

Competitions are another good way to attract members here, also buying ads on other webmaster forums, or even file host sites. And warez forums can be useful as well.

Even our loyal members can help out with spreading the word, or having a referral contest.

Well about design I cant say anything, I like it as it is.
I come here for info not for fancy look...
Till it is easy brows-able every user gonna be happy....
Advertising, banners, ad-spots WJ doesnt need that....
Every webmaster gonna find it thru search engines so its only money and time wasting...
What WJ should really consider and invest its time too is for spam/scam prevention;)
Especially on the market, hosting, coding gfx services....
VIP is really not needed as its only makes it more closed for other people.
Respected member ranks are enough so no need go for VIP....
My offer is to create paid company/service membership.
In such way company which pays 20$/year for WJ can advertise on trusted company thread, and it agrees with WJ trusted company rules (new rules) to provide full trusted service. If company scams person or cant provide efficient service it is removed from trusted list with no money refund and restricted to certain time to access it.....
How it gonna help?
Well first of all it gonna help people to decide which company/service to choose. Secondly it will prevent oneday company to take over clients from real companies. Usually we have huge hosting provider list but half of them are just overselling overloaded vps... Or just scam people.
As an example we have Hosting and sectors in it discussion, shared,vps dedi.... To every sector we should add sub sector Respected as agrees to strict paid section WJ rules.
In those sub sectors gonna be threads from paid trusted companies.
This will be easier to choose your service provider/seller/company.
For service providers it will be easier to gain new clients.
Earned money can be invested for WJ development and improvement.

You may say what you want but this idea gonna work perfectly and serious people/service providers gonna be thankful for such improvement.

Chatbox sometimes is not controlled, but hey people lets be realistic, even same respected members spam it sometimes so I wouldn't bother about it.
