I seriously need some good site ideas...

I have servers/hosting/domains -- and way too many of them, and plenty of time, but I just don't have any ideas for any good sites that are unique. There are way too many warez forums out there and I can't really think of anything that would make a sizable contribution to the warez community.

Who has some good ideas? Share them with me!

I was thinking to open some music blog. But I don't have the time so I'll just tell you the idea. So you could use it. It should be dedicated to music from the 1980's.

Of course, don't start it unless you know alot of artists from the 80s, and if you don't have any quality content that can't be find on average warez site. Because everyone is posting everywhere the new content, I have a feeling that old content will rule the world again. Because It's better, at least to me.

Every day there should be "Artist/Band of the day". You should write a little info about the artist/band. And the whole discography of the artist.

How to get alot of traffic for it?

Create Facebook Fanpage and invite all of the friends that you think they might like the music from 80s.

I'm not sure about the domain, is it good or not. I guess someone would type "80s music download" , or those words in some other combination. It's a long domain, but easy to remember.

This kind of site requires a lot of work, and uploading.

If you don't want anything against the law, just open random sites where you can put the Google adsense.

Whatever you start will fail.

Reason:
If you start a site because someone suggested it to you, you'll never have near the interest in the site as if you came up with the idea yourself and as a result it will never reach it's full potential. For a site to be truly successful it doesn't matter what servers, money or advertising you throw at it. If you don't have a genuine interest in it it will never work. When you have your own idea and interest in it you'll overcome small issues like advertising, hosting, financial support etc as you'll have a genuine interest and beg borrow and steel to see it fulfilled.

You are right, because when you really think about it. If someone had a new idea for a site WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY TELL YOU but not start it themselves?

That's like Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook telling some other guy his idea rather than him developing it himself or even getting a proper coder/designer/etc.

Actually, Mark Zuckerberg based the Facebook idea off some other guy's idea. I just saw the new film The Social Network (a film about Facebook's creation) and there were two brothers that wanted a Facebook-like system called HarvardConnection (this is before Facebook). Zuckerberg used their idea and made TheFacebook (today just called 'Facebook', which actually sounds a million times better without 'The' even though it's just a small word xD).****SPOILER OVER******

Here's an idea, just throwing it out:

Search for companies that need webside coders and see if you can help them in exchange for a payment. Easy buck unless they want a HUGE web script, but in that case, I guess you could decline those companies and accept the ones that are smaller.

BUT you should find the happy medium: torstream needs a new program to installed on your system, and just after that you can use their streaming site - meanwhile bitlet do not need any other application to install (except java, but that is mostly installed on systems) but they only support ogm and ogv for streaming, flash and avi files are not supported .

So if you could make a site using bitlets nothing-is-needed-to-install and torstreams avi-mkv-flv-mp4 can be played too, than you would attract a lot of visitors.

All those who do not want to wait for their torrent download to finish.

This idea do not need hard server, nor a lot bandwith, as files are downloaded from torrent - still -as the player is on your site, you get a lot of visitor.

The only downside is that you need very good programming skills - if i would have them i would never share this idea
