Hello guys.
For example I have 2 network connections attached to 1 server.
The 2nd connection is really slow and it is a purposed to just hold the server till the 1st connection goes back to normal. What should I do ? I run in XP and I have a domain name from namecheap with url forwarding to the fast connection.

Thanks

that's not really possible.
you can do round-robbin by addin 2 a-ips.

your hoster needs to support failover-ips then you can asign the failover-ip to your second connection.

of you need to add a load-balancer bevore your server and configure it, to route all traffic to port 1 - if it's unavailabe to port 2

edit
or set the dns ttl to s.th. like 10minutes.
use s.th. like uptimerobot to check if your connection go down.
if it goes down, change it manually in your dns

What issues will you have with the first connection? Having said that just get a server with A+B redundant networks. In a way that's what you're referring to.
