You're missing the little tag image, that's why.

But if you don't want it, do the following;

Styles & Templates > Style Manager > threadbit

Find:
<if condition="$show['taglist']"> <img class="inlineimg" src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/tag.png" alt="$thread[taglist]" /> </if>

And remove it.

That is set for each individual forum:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Allow Thread Ratings in this Forum


That should remove the complete rating all together.
