How to get my site noticed

Well I have had my site up and running for more than 2 months now and it just seems dead..

Activity is growing and growing a little every day but not much,

what is the best way to get the activity up of my members and more member registrations.

EDIT: I know i need a new skin.. I am working on it at the moment.. well linkfire is

I upload at least 3-5 things a day and they get submitted to katz..

Katz is my main source of traffic really..

is there anything else i could be doing to get more traffic?
 
You need to do something unique, which other warez forum's don't have. That way user's will be attracted and register/participate. And like DJ said 'Patience is the key'
 
Try getting high on goole with they keywords warez etc.

Also members reffering other members = best advertisement.

2-10 good members.. can refer atleast 1 each.. that makes 20 good members.. the next 10 ref like 10-15.. 10-15 more active members.. 15 ref 30.. (good ref this time) makes like 60 active members.. Then it goes hard =)

Make your users happy.. Give them stuff other sites don't

(good example is online working mailbombers, Rapidshare accounts working, Creditcard,paypals seem to work good to.)

That is if your an hacking/warez forum though... hope it helps

Thats just like asking, which stocks can i buy to make $. lol bro, you got work hard and be patient and figure the answer our your self.
 
yup i do most of that..

I just need a unique idea..

which i have been trying to come up with for the last month..

just got nothing..

anyway i am sticking with it and it is becoming better i suppose :D
 
I would suggest taking away the portal, as this allows people to leech away and mistake the site for a "blog". If portals were popular, warezscene and warez-bb would be using them.

Just FYI in my opinion.
 
I gotta agree with you on that..

I have never been a fan of it since i installed it. .

it has now been removed and it just redirects straight to the forum now
