How to attach pendrive to sony bravia tv and play movies?

sony bravia EX42 hv 4 HDMI ports but when i attach pendrive to port none of the content of pendrive load what should be the reason 8-)

i believe the drive has to be FAT32, not NTFS. I have a sony blu-ray player, which is essentially the same software for the most part, and that is what i had to do.

And not all avi will play only certain codecs. Also resolution must be equal or lower thanTV resolution max.

problem is solved now it support mpeg video format only i have to convert videos to mpeg format to play them
