Assuming I am a classic file sharing provider and I host my homepage filelocker dot com at provider Provider-A.

However, all my files are located at different servers from different providers, for example

server-foo.filelocker.com hosted at Provider-B (offshore)
server-bar.filelocker.com hosted at Provider-C (offshore)

So the questions are

1. Can I claim that I do not host copyrighted content when Provider-A forward me DMCA.

2. Has anyone experience this situation before?

Thank you.

You actually wouldn't even get a notice from provider A. Because if provider A looks and sees that you have no files, your fine.

Thanks for your reply.

If I rent a dedicated server with provider A, they have no change to look at my files.

I am afraid that if they receive a dmca of one of my link (html page not the file itself) and they will just act on the fact that I host my homepage on their network.
