My question is that what seo techniques increase alexa and what seo techniques increase page rank? i want to know techniques for both. or reasons of there increase.

PR update - Need high quality backlinks from other sites ie the higher the backlinks pr then you will get higher PR

there is another technique for alexa ie if some 1 ie your friend has an alexa toolbar installed and he visits your site then alexa increases

by proxy hit i meant like most people do when they provide traffic services they just use different proxys and via some softwares or script visit your site

A lot of people think a site has a good alexa rank just do to the fact it gets a lot of visitors but in reality is because those users have the alexa toolbar installed.

A site that receives 3,000 visitors a day and 2,000 of those visitors have the alexa toolbar installed will have a better alexa rank than a site that gets 10,000 Visitors a day and only 500 of those visitors have the alexa toolbar installed.

for PR just get backlinks from sites with good PR
