Important notes for Windows VPS Clients:

1- Do not consider the speed you receive from web sites such as speediest.net as the real speed you can receive from your connection.

2- If you are planning to upload to file host websites such as Filesonic & ..., do not use web upload. Always use FTP clients and always choose europe servers.

3- If you are planning to download files from anywhere including file host websites, it would be better to use Internet Download Manager (Modify site logins in IDM/Edit/Options and add your premium account). Do not rely on the speed you achieve from some other software such as Jdownloader (It is not optimized for maximum speed).

4- For file hosts with servers in North America or East Asia, for example Fileserve, remember to put simultaneous download and upload connections to achieve maximum speed.

Setup time takes 1-2 hours during working hours.

For a custom build VPS, you need to contact support and provide them with details. I'm sure they'll be helpful in their answer.

If I decide to get one package right now, but later on switch to a different one (could be a downgrade or upgrade), does the 20% lifetime discount carry over ?

Also, do you allow torrent seeding/leeching and file hosting uploads/downloads ?

Checked for myself,

In my personal experience speeds are very very disappointing.

Purchase and setup times was pretty decent, VPS was delivered in just a few hours.

Support was good, refunded my transaction moments after I requested no questions asked.

VPS itself was very responsive otherwise.

As vgnheart mentioned, did you try uploading to EU servers of those file hosting companies considering our datacenter to be in Europe? After your refund request, we logged in to your VPS and tested Filesonic, Fileserve and Rapidshare download speed. pictures in my first post.

i have been with these guys for 4 months now. no down time, support is fast. they'll tell you the service is unmanaged but i was helped in different occasions. average upload speed for me to filesonic EU (i use this mainly) is around 40-100 MB, its like copying files from hard to hard
that was my review but test yourself to see if it meets your needs.

Yes, you might use linux VPS for what you mentioned as long as it is not in a way to be considered as spam.

Unfortunately, we do not provide more than 1 IP address for our VPS packages. You can take a look at our dedicated servers if you require more than 1 IP address.

REVIEW: WIN platinum

These guys are pretty awesome, they set me up with the VPS in about 3 hrs. The windows VPS is awesome in terms of network speed and hard drive speed. I'm getting about 20MB per download from filesonic. Support is awesome, there is literally 24/7 support as someone always seems to be on, you won't fine any other provider with this type of customer service. Price wise, you also won't find anyone else offering these price. In my honest opinion, I give them 10/10.

I urge you to consider this fact that judging a network with 1 Gbps connection port by uploading or downloading to or from a web browser is not fair as it will be only one tcp connection.

We have seen few judging the network speed based on what I just explained. That being said, we have included some information in the email we send Windows VPS info to clients.

Here are the tips:

Since many clients here are considering working with file hosts such as Filesonic and Wupload, I would guarantee a very quality experience with these companies through our network. I personally can upload with an average speed of 90 MB (not Mb) to Filesonic or Wupload through our VPS. I'm not surprised to see this speed as both of them have their europe server in Amsterdam, where our servers are located, and one of them is in the same datacenter.

Do not hesitate to ask further questions in this regard.

Added after 4 Days 3 Hours:

So far, very good experience....... setup-ed my VPS within 24 hrs after the order confirmation. upload and download speeds are also very good :)
I only download from filesonic only and got above 20 MBps in each file.
While uploading, i got 30-50 MBps to filesonic (FTP), 8-9 MBps to Rapidshare and 17-18 MBps to oron.com. Not able to test WUpload as now a days it is impossible to upload to it :(
