hi, im starting a porn blog is it a good idea to host it on hostgator or not ? and will they allow me to put copyrighted material on it or not ?

They won't allow you to put copyrighted materials, its USA based host

They will forward DMCA emails and allow 24-48 hours to remove DMCA contents. But you get many DMCA emails you will be suspended

Go with offshore host,don't go with Hostgator they will suspend your blog if you don't remove complete site after they send you mail.They check sites from time to time so go away from them.

If you want to start a legal porn blog, you can. Hostgator accepts porn, only legal porn.

so guys suggest me some good offshore host... most of the offshore hosting companies dont have good technical support and customer service ..

Just use a web host in Europe. France, Denmark, Netherlands. No need for self proclaimed "offshore hosts". Buy at a reputable company yourself and save some cash.
