Lord of The Rings although i loved the hobbit it doesnt have near the scpope of LOTR ..hobbit was a childrens book anyway.

Lord of the Rings

I think Lord of the Rings was way better because I really loved the characters. You feel a connection with them and the way they're feeling. When I watched the Hobbit I didn't feel that way. Also, in the hobbit they were never in any danger, it was just a walk through the park to them. They may have had some rough moments, but nothing happened to make you feel like they were in trouble.
