Help needed on Style conversion

i am planning to change my style in phpbb3 forum.i have a doubt.if i change the style will i lose any changes i have made in the forum. i have done a lot of modifications ( i dont remember which n all i have changed...) so if i upgrade to a new style will i lose anything in the forum...if yes can you tell me what and all i need to modify in the new style ??

ALWAYS TAKE BACKUP before you change things on your site, so you dont have to worry about losing anything.

Also you could clone the forum and edit it safely, its not good thing to edit live site if your not sure what your doing.
