Help in Kloxo CENTOS

Hi guys,

I am new to VPS servers, and am a total noob just learning.

I bought a vps server a few hours ago

It had kloxo and centos 5 preinstalled.

I configured the kloxo to have a DNS server and then I pointed it to my registrar and all was working, with the default kloxo page coming up.

I uploaded a copy of IP.Board afterwards and I get HTTP 500 error

please help me

Try to install Kloxo on a clean CentOS install.

this will look kiddish but

Go to Servers>localhost>Switch Program

Change from apache to lighttpd and click update
then change back to apache and click update

most probably it will solve your issue

Maby kloxo is messed up ?

The http works somewhat so far, the kloxo default page loads, but when I delete that and upload the ipb files, it downloads a download.php file instead of loading the page

Which php version is installed?
also you tried the way I provided above?

I also had a problem with php after i installed kloxo. the solution i made was, remove kloxo! i only use ssh an ftp. solves most of the problems lol

Go to webserver config and select mod_php that will solve your problem

Maybe your preinstalled kloxo is the problem.

Just reinstall a clean OS and then manually install Kloxo. Its pretty easy.

for good reinstalled OS without kloxo
after that run yum upgrade before and next following step by step from the kloxo wiki installing guide

^ Don't do yum upgrade, just install kloxo first. You might get into errors later on.
