I have a question. Sorry if it has been asked before, I just couldn't manage to find any info about this. I was wondering about if download actually counts as a view too and gives you some revenue or not? And also, is there any way to disable downloading videos?

As for your question, yes. We count downloads in case the downloader didn't watch the video first, and didn’t use automatic tools to download the video and bypass the ads like IDM. All kind of downloads should be counted except in these cases.

You could try using Z-O-O-M File Uploader. You will need to have the Google Drive viewable in the File Explorer of your PC but I tested it with a vacation MP4 and it worked fine.
