At this weekend we’re going to update multiple things at the backend which should be also related to this error directly. I will pump you with a PM to ask you if you still face it by then or not so we can know if it’s sorted out or not.

And I'm sorry for mentioning it again.... :( I know it's annoying to you to hear the same problem over and over.


Just getting a bit frustrated with some of the snapshots..... as I'm sure you are too.

502 - Bad Gateway . That’s an error.
Looks like we have got an invalid response from the upstream server. That’s all we know.

I'm Getting this error message after refreshing the website.

We can sort it out by now but wee need idle time like the morning to do the backed updates. Anyway, we gonna fix this in few mins and do the rest by the morning to avoid these crappy errors.

Okay it seems the steps we were going to take at the morning should be taken by now. I can't leave the office and sleep while being waked up by a user calling on Skype to check the 502 error and waste the users time because I think everyone is pissed of because of these short errors, and yes they're short and only taking few minutes until they're fixed but they're fucking ANNOYING if not for you for me at least.

I will do the major updates now and don't leave the office until everything has been resolved. Will keep everyone here updated as well before leaving the office and share the details of whatever we're doing.

There was an error for 2 minutes. Anyway, all what have been doing is adding more servers to be the main Database mirrors but it seems like adding more slaves (mirror servers) is harming the master DB since the master DB is sending everything to its slaves every 5 minutes and at the moment of the sending there is extremely HIGH possibility of getting 502 error because the master DB is not able to send all the data it has to its slaves. Upgrading the master DB is not helping as well because this is not the way things should work, at least not anymore. We're now changing the system from working on a master DB that sends its data to its slaves every 5 minutes into a system that has no slaves but every table of the database is stored on a different server and the CDN load balancing sends the traffic requests into the concerned table (server) and each table (server) will have its own mirrors as well.

Hope I explained everything clearly. Anyway, let we follow up with the dev team right now.
