Google +1 for SEO

Hi everybody! I'm Kate and new in this forum site. My question is how google +1 help our website to ranking high on search engine? I've seen many website with lots of G+ but not ranking high but there are lots of article I've found regarding G+ positive impact on keywords ranking. so clarify this topic please.

Hi Kate, i would first like to welcome you to WJunction.

Google Plus activity acts as a social signal of public approval. Any site which receives good +1s would rank better since people are approving of the site. Google search does consider this +1s as a signal to rank that site better.

Of course, google does know how to differentiate between legit and fake +1s.
