Get more rapids for your Rapidpoints ....

We all know by now that you need:

5,000 FP + 5,000 PP for 600 rapids
50,000 FP + 50,000 PP for 6,000 rapids

But this is what not many people know:

There might be situations where you have a lot of FP but not PP resulting in you not being able to recharge rapids.

I wrote a support ticket to RS with questions about converting points and the girl offered me to use the old rule (10,000 FP) and credit my account for 10,000 FP.

If you're in a similar situation and you want to optimize the recharge of rapids, just write them a email and ask them to convert for you.

Hmm i have 8912 free rapidpoint and 4121 premium point...is that possible to change free point to premium poin?

Write an email to Rapidshare (support@rapidshare.com) and ask them if it is possible for them to convert your premium points and recharge your account with 600 rapids for 10,000 free points.

Mind though that you have to convert your old premium or collector's account to a new premium account and give them the number.

This is a fragment of Rapidshare's reply:

Due to the recent change we can offer to convert your points under the old conditions.

Please confirm that you wish to have your account XXX credited with 600 Rapids (1 day equal 20Rapids) for 10'000 Free-RapidPoints.
