Hey there!

At this moment, I am searching a news editor for my website. But before I start with my own description, let me go ahead and follow the official template

Name of your site? - GamingNextGen
Link to the [STRIKE]forum[/STRIKE] website? - http://gamingnextgen.com
Genre? - Gaming
Position available? - News Editor
Is it a paid position? - No. This is a new website with not a lot of resources. It may become a paid position somewhere in the future, but not for the time being.
Why are you requesting staff? - I am requestion staff because I also have work and school. Therefore I am not able to update my website with new content consistently.

So that's the official template. Lets go on to my description!

What does a news editor do?

A news editor gets, well, news, from various sources and writes articles for them on my website. There really isn't much to it, but there are requirements.

What are the requirements?

A good news editor needs to be able to write english very well without any mistakes in grammar or word usage. He/she also needs to be able to give an artice a good and easily readble format/lay-out. When working on my particular website, every article needs to have atleast a featured image. And lastly, the editor needs to be able to put the articles in the right categories.

When should you apply?

You should apply is you are a true gamer and like finding and reading articles regarding games and the gaming industry. You also need to like writing articles, be they short or long. Copy and pasting any article from another website is not allowed and this will be checked on. Lastly, if you like being part of a new, innovative and growing website, this is the job is for you.

How do you apply?

Reply in this article or send me a PM. When applying, I am going to ask you to write an article on a piece of news of your choice. This, ofcourse, has to be about gaming and shouldn't be too short in length. I will also ask you a few questions to get to know you better, as this is a serious job, and I want to know who I am working with.

Thanks for reading!
