I'd recommed to make your own Socks5 using SSH access to any hosting server you may have and a HTTP/SSH tunel with putty.
That way you know that at least the host you are using has least chance of logging or anything mostly because they sell hosting services not dedicated IP hiding solutions which can be real honeypots.

Download is slow for downloading decent to large files Upload is just fine I do not get much faster with my current ISP. This free VPN will be good for anybody who is not a heavy downloader

Why's it totally free? Bandwidth and servers cost money... there has to be a catch here... it's a honeypot?

Other free legit VPN's like proXPN have limited free services but always have a premium pay model ... no ones in the business to give anything away for free.
