Hey guys.

The old topic was removed in place for this new thread, because the application comes with an installer and automatic silent updater now instead of a "standalone" package as before, as well as a bunch of other features. This allows everyone to ensure they have the latest version with no messing around.

Chevereto Desktop Application allows users to take selective or full screenshots, or upload multiple images to multiple imagehosts using the Chevereto script. The application also provides links and screenshots to uploaded material, and has an advanced inline image editor.

Some image hosts are more reliable than others, and sometimes websites go down, forcing you to use an alternative imagehost. This application saves you the trouble by allowing multiple host configurations, combined with a built-in host selector. Selecting different can be done in as little as a few mouse-clicks.

Taking selective screenshots to highlight something to a friend is key to a good desktop application. The Universal Uploader application has multiple editing tools, including a pen, rectangle, ellipse, line, text, color selection and line thickness.

You only really need the URL for the wide majority of chevereto sites.

Here's a few that I have:

99.9% of the time, the api url is just '/api.php' as the screenshot below shows. The api Key is usually not required. If it is, you can just get it from the browser plugin if one is available. Browser plugins for firefox/chrome are only .zip files.

Furthermore, profiles are just xaml files. You can share the xaml file and put it in the profiles folder. The profile will then automatically appear in the list instantly. This basically allows any chevereto imagehost owner to share their profile extremely easily.
