If I was to invest some time and money in the service, would people be interested in it?

Cacti is a server / VPS monitoring system (Syslog and SNMP)

Interesting idea

Would it make sense to put it "hand-in-hand" with Nagios and alert people when there boxes are down, and by the time you have hacked support for multiple users would it not just be easier to start from scratch (I found Cacti horrid to work with)

Same after 6 months playing with it ive found a better alternative and will be offering it as a service eventually.
