You need to keep your pages look as natural as you can. The more content the better but it needs to have some keywords which you want to promote. The one way to achieve it is to make tests.
 
install wordpress+yoast seo for easy seo post guide and copy to forum post

no need to waste time doing seo post if later will be moved lower in search rankings because of dmca.

on "w" site i rather spent more time for increasing content quantity (NEWEST Release), remove annoying popup ads, use only top filehost; and focus on gather returning member/Visitor

Forum posting should look natural. It should be such as seems to be natural interaction among forum users. Forum is the place where users share their problems and get solution of their problems. It should not be like placing link and that's it.

Forum posting is basically refers to where we can discuss about anything.
There are lots of discussion forums on the web
In forum, doing only discussion is of less importance as far as SEO is concern because discussion will not let the visitor to visit out site.
So, for this reason there is an option in the forum of putting signature with your every post which usually contains link of your website with anchor text.
