I wonder if there is any specific thread , to define what is the limitation of new members(probation)
How they can overcome it,etc
saw many time new members asking in chat, why they cant post,etc things.

So here should be a thread to inform all the details,so others can forward them to that thread without typing same thing again and again
It will be great, if there is a automated PM for new members to inform all the limitation & how to overcome that,etc

This happens when new users skip the part they should read, when registering their account on WJunction.
It is also written in the rules, which is the first thing you see at the top.
We can't do much more than that. Rest is on them, to read what is written.
 
See, on the internet, just like in real life, it's considered as a politeness, that you get to know with the rules of the house, if any, that you enter in.

So, it's more on user, than us, to actually look for them, than us sticking rules right into their face.
 
It could also be interpreted as a form of "dictatorship" pushing the rules in ones face, first thing you read as a new member.
It should be one of the first things you should read before posting anything.
 
I never read forum rules, I refuse to, don't see the point. I stick to common sense and logic.

Well, I would if I kept getting banned/flamed ^_^
