Hi, I keep seeing DDL sites with these firefox submission plugins where you can right click links to submit to a site... Can anybody show me how to make one or point me in the right direction?

I also notice nobody seems to have one working for FF5?

Just download one. Change it from .xpi to .zip and extract it. Open up the javascript file and change http://example.com/submit.php to http://yoursite.com/submit.php and then rezip it. rename it back from a zip to an zip and your done. Depending on who's you download you may have to change stuff like the TYPES etc.

However if you want something seriously cool like a SUPER multi submitter for chrome you'll have to wait for me to officially launch it.

Ahhhh... haha. Thank you.

PS: would be interested in any similar tools for my site. Please let me know if/when you release.
PSS: Still I don't think anybody has a working one for FF5 which is what I'm using so it will be hard for me to test.

@Mr Happy - just an idea but in the Options menu it would be good to see a custom list and what that does is add a custom named list under Mecho DDL and depending on what the user selected it'll put a link what the user has right clicked on a form to x list they created. Just an idea.

In Options you can add your site url and your email address for each site so they are automatically added. Their are also 3 custom ones which are optional and you can enter additional sites. All you have to do is enter the submit url.*

*this is slightly buggy as sites vary and therefore may not be included in the initial release.

Definitely not in initial release.
It tracks what you've submitted in Chromes built in database (yes Chrome pwns) and warns you if you've already submitted something. It can track when you last submitted 40 downloads and show you how long you have to wait.

Is there any site that has the plugin working on FF5??

In the zip their is an options/config file. You just change the FF4 to FF5 or something like that. It's incredibly easy but a MASSIVE pain in the ass for Plugin Developers. FireFox really needs to be like Chrome where the plugins don't break when you update. If FireFox is going to release FF6 in 5 weeks then it's going to me more of a pain in the ass having to update again.

Conclusion. Everyone should use Chrome.

Are you sure its as simple as that? I will have a go anyway and let you know. Thanks.

EDiT: Got it kinda working but its not putting the title/url in the submit page: http://evilddl.com/ffplugin.xpi (though after changing the version number it is installing in FF5)..
