ahoura should notify this to WJ admins to investigate whether Steph of Cloudzer has connection in this incident or not. We all lost out hard working files & this is no joke!

I think only an idiot would put their name on something like this. My best guess is someone wants us to think it was Steph. Personally, the last thing I'd want is a reputation as a cracker - especially when I want people to trust me and use my services.

but this thing should really investigate because why it has to be Steph@cloudzer? why isn't it someone else? why it has to be filezy to be hacked? for finding all these whys I really believe ahoura should ask for WJ admins help about this serious matter!

All in all I received 2 email from no-reply@filezy.net and 1 steph@cloudzer.net within a list of all my files with the title "deleted files list".
I also think it is not couldzer who is responsible, it would be stupid to do that.
But it could be another host.

I look forward to know what it really is and especially if all is lost.

We are working to bring the servers back, there will be an update in the next 2 hours. @roscotorba, we got a notification on our email with the following comment: "Filezy.net offline now yet another scam designed ..........." Please note that we are not scamming anyone, if it happened that we are going offline (shutting the site down) we have all your earnings that you can easily cash out.

Please note that all the user data is already back (users + earnings) and we are working to find out where they attacked us from and we will be releasing the hacker's information here.

Ahoura

UPDATE

Ok so here is what we know so far.
Today we were hacked by person for one of the following reasons:
- I personally made a comment on UT about LumFile after they were found guilty for CP, and I also reported them to their host, LeaseWeb
- I also wrote a blogpost directed towards Mr Robert King, on UT.

These 2 are the only reasons we can think of for someone to attack us.
The hacker hacked into my email and from there found the password to the admin panel.

The hackers' info are as follow:
IP: 50.96.60.241
Location: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=TEXARKANA,TEXAS,US
Email: defina.coma@gmail.com

We will be contacting the ISP of the user to report them, and if possible get in touch with authorities.

So what about the data?

We have all your data from 24 hours ago, All your personal info and earnings are safe however unfortunately the files have been lost.
When today earlier I reported that the files are there, I checked quickly and saw that there were some files on our servers but I did not take the time to check and make sure of it and it turns out that those were the files that were uploaded after the hack, and I would like to apologize about that.

I understand that users will be frustrated but unfortunately this was out of our hands, and I tried my best to save the files (I instantly disconnected all of our fileservers to prevent files getting removed but it was too late by then).

What have you done to investigate this?

From the looks of it its all pointing towards Uploaded/Cloudzer however we highly doubt that they were behind the attack.
We have got in touch with WJ and we are still waiting to hear from them, I have also spoken to the admin of UT and he couldnt find any user with that IP or email.

There are also rumors that LumFile was behind the attack, we are still investigating our server logs to find as much info as we can.

So what now?

Right now the site is not accessible, we are still investigating and trying to make sure this will not happen again.

All user data (Username, Earnings, etc) are safe. We have a bi-daily remote backup. All users will be allowed to cash out anything above a dollar (once the site is back up). At that point its completely up to our users to decided weather they would like to continue with us or not.

Please note that this was not something we had planned or hoped for, but once again I would like to apologize to everyone.

Please be civil and let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,
Ahoura

Ohhh, man. :-&
I am very sad that this happened with filezy.
I just want to know how an email was sent by VidUp.

And all my files is deleted o_o
My hard work o_o

Im very sad, but I will continue with you [:|]

Are you going to have a promotional event to get back up and running?

It won't be any time soon for me to get all my files back up, because I'm lazy and that will be a daunting task - but I do still like your service.

Hi SPirata,

I really appreciate your support and once again we are sincerely sorry about the file lost.
VidUP is owned by me as well but the emails were not sent by vidup. Filezy's main server hostname is server3.vidup.me and thats why the emails were coming from "server3.vidup.me".

Ahoura
