i just bought a site and i'm trying to add it to my sites at FS but it says that its already added , i asked the sellers he said he can't delete it from his account
so , what do you recommned me to do ?

actually my friend who told me to join FS ... he account remote upload working fine but i m newly registered here and tried but same page opens only...

sir i m telling truth what i got problem.. if then u create one user register and then try remote upload 2-3 times.. its not working

when i log in to ftp sever and upload file by RPD.at the moment i log in to my FS account in my computer.so may i get banned for this?my RPD IP is IP US

i have already downloaded it's with free account, so i think it not a bug from their server.
Are you already check your cache and error logs? for example read error log of IDM to know what wrong with that? because it's still fine until i downloaded it's yet =)

I have found that files that are more than a month ALIVE and then DELETED (DMCA or not) will not show up under the "DMCA tab". So, there is a flaw with the current system.
Many ppl requested for "sorting by delete date". This is for YOUR users convenience.

I would also like to know the answer for this.. Are files that haven't been downloaded after a certain time are being deleted after a certain time even if they are not DMCA reported? (im talking about premium users ofcourse)
 
Ricky had made an announcement that he and FS support will be busy till 8th February. So i'll try to answer the questions to the best of my ability. :)

Ricky has said this a lot of times, 99% of these errors have been fixed and the current problems in remote uploading are more due to problems with the other host rather than fileserve's system. An easy way to solve this is to restart the remote upload of pending files

There is something wrong with that file, this happens with my files as well sometimes. Just reupload the file and everything should be fine

Bans are issued only in cases of simultaneous DOWNLOADING not uploading. I cant find that specific comment but ricky said that you can even upload from 10 places at a time and they wont care. JUST DONT DOWNLOAD from 2 places at the same time.

and just to be sure, dont access your FS account from home while downloading from RDP and vice versa

You should contact support for this, create a ticket. Ricky has said previously that only the tech department can remove an added site. And as the Techs are on holidays/busy with real life till 8th FEB, they wont be able to solve your problem until then.

Files that are uploaded before 30 days donot show up in the DMCA tab. This is not a bug and ricky knows about this. It has been discussed before as well. Dont worry there is nothing wrong with your account.

Also, files that are more than 90 days old and not downloaded are NOT deleted automatically. I have many files that are 90 days old and they are still in my account.

No, files larger than 2GB are not counted. and soon this bug will be finished and all files which are larger than 2GB WILL be deleted.

If you give to the uploader a promotion for premium , they buy more premium. Obviously they have to pay the premium with the money they earn in fileserve. Filesonic do that and they are not in bankrupt... It's win win system.Because you build customer loyalty.

And do you provider for a competion between uploader like filesonic do recently?

And i add that you are a good filehost, I have a respect for your work even if you innovate less than your rival. You are serious and i respect that

I thought i'd answer this as well. You do realize that filesonic is only good for uploaders and downloaders( the majority) hates it. The free users are forced to buy premium accounts to download files larger than 400MB. Fileserve has a perfect system as it is, i hope they dont change anything and just improve their website and their infrastructure for downloaders.

@ royman: No we don't. You can upload, but it would be wasted effort for you and us in terms of bandwidth and the usage of the file :)

@ KeeN: No they are not. The final earnings looked fine.

@ rick_flair: No, because it retries every 2 hours. I've remote uploaded tons of files. It just depends if your account is going through or not :)

@ chicoes: No that's outrageous. We keep your files and we keep them indefinitely. Considering how much space we're giving to users (terabytes) I'd say you're getting a great bargain for 9.99 for unlimited storage.

@ CloudShadow: Damn. Shouldn't have made this reply now that I saw yours. I guess it is repetitive questions from different users.

You're right on the last answer; we focus on the free users. I know of many students/friends who have used the service in order to transfer their own large files from one network to another - as a free user. Excellent speed and availability for everyone.



@ all: Let me remind you again this is Chinese New Year. It is like the Ramadan for the Muslims, the Christmas for the Western people, a special event for the far east/Chinese people. Work is slowed to a stump and only if some things crash, techs will be on it. Otherwise, you will have to wait till the 8th to get your issues fixed.

Currently our techs are working on improving the site, so you will not experience "404" errors....Ever again.

I don't know if downloaders hate it , but i prefer to close this subject insomuch as it's fileserve Thread and no rival thread. But yes the valuable quality of Fileserve is the download speed for free users and obviously the possibility for free users to download files larger than 400mb.

By the way Ricky i want to upgrade my account in premium ( because of problem of storage) , but my money isn't still transfer , so i can't extend my account. Why is it so long?
