Stats is not jammed / stopped at 70 for all users.

The problem - if there even is a problem - is that stats is slow.
It could be that the usual slowdown in the first days of the week is even slower this week than normal.

But Dj.IcE' stats is not easy to explain.
 
mmh, since file manager update, some of my files were "damaged" : their filename was abridged (?!) and now they point to "landing 404" error page...

this for example :

was renamed "j'ai serr" (certainly not by me...), rest of the title and file extension dissapeared and it's not available anymore...
Apparently only few files took the blow for now (have to check in detail, but a quick look at root and I can see 6 of these "abridged" victims, hope there ain't much in subfolders...), but it's quite a bit worriesome, no ?

note : they're still in my main file manager page, nothing to do with DMCA...
 
@ ILHFFS: It is working. Please check your accounts. We have a ton of data getting moved from MU to us...As we speak.

@ Russhim: That's what appears on my end. It is working, but it seems there's a lot of fails. If you try check your files, sometimes it states the file is temporary unavailable - Why? Because they're most likely updating their site on their end.

@ Dj.IcE: Earnings are generally lower today than any other days. I cannot explain for this, but we haven't touched anything and all files are available. Furthermore, we added a bunch of new servers too and they're working just fine.

@ rototo: All foreign characters got a blow to the ribs..Techs know about this and are looking to restore names of these files. Your file should have been renamed into a "j?ai serr"
 
I am getting pending files in the ftp list & remote list and then a bunch of failed uploads. Its a real mess at the moment. I wish uploads were a little smoother. Having to manually sort them out and reupload again.

I am also getting many duplicate files in the file manager while uploading via ftp but there aren't any duplicate files in my filezilla que. Weird.

Obviously french accents too (at least "é" "è" "ç" at first sight)

I see you're currently fixing things, filenames with accents are back to their original form:)
...but those are still all pointing to 404 pages for now.
 
@ Prazsky: Known issue on the FTP. We will first be sorting out the remote and then move on to the FTP. We do retry pendings after 1 hour, so if you have them in for more than 1 hour it should be sent.

@ rototo: We will be looking to fix your files asap. We're aware of the 404s

yeah i know that fileserve is working for improving the service but still, usually i get a bit more than 1000 downloads in the stats last days and by now i should have around half of it, but i only have 289. Since thanksgiving (26 nov) my downloads have started to go down slowly (i had around 1400 daily by friday) but i didnt pay much attention because we know sometimes it goes a bit up or down; but 289 in half a day by my records definitely something weird is happening. <_<
 
Ricky, is it possible to reduce the time between retries to something like 5 minutes? 1 hour is a long time to wait when we are looking to post links in forums quickly.
 
I have posted my experience regarding the too low "statistics vs downloads" two weeks ago a few pages back, and it was never really addressed...till now it's still the same for me. If there's really a problem hope it gets fixed soon.
 
@ Prazsky: Usually not because during peak hours there may be a queue of say 10-15 minutes of files that will be processed; if you start retrying every 5 minutes, you see what could potentially happen to that server

@ frogcoin: Understood. All your files have clean characters?

As said before; we have done nothing besides updating the file manager.

@ n3og3n3sys: Again, downloads in the file manager has nothing to do with the statistics report. We can just take that away if that will ease your mind of not knowing how many attempts/fails/downloads by premiums & free actually accessed your file. And for the record it is usually 50-100% more in file manager vs stats report. For example 100 "downloads" in File Manager would show up as anything between 30-50 downloads in stats report.

Don't know where you want to get with the argument because the numbers do not match up. It's a given that they do not match up.
 
yes RickyFS, all my files have clean characters. i have some old files with spaces in their names but those arent my main source of download counts anymore.

I know sometimes its because the stats are frozen but it doesnt seem the case by today as the download number has been increasing slowly but still too low by the standards i have been getting in this month.
 
Is there any problems with Upload speed / I upload from Rapidleech and getting very slow upload speed only 300Kb/s i use 1gbit server on other filehosts speed is good only on fileserve i get this slow upload speed yesterday the upload speed was good but today is very slow

hi rikifs, im here to ask you about my problem regarding FS (im new to fileserve)

try to look at my download counts in my "my files"

and compare with Statistics Report :
