I can feel the luv that just oozes from this thread.

The Cash Whores cry and whine cuz no more cash, Porn stars getting DP. 3P, PPPPP (Not sure that is possible), Sermons and Preaching, A history lesson, people hiding from the FBI(Is that the Full Blooded Italians?). This thread has it all Money, Sex, Fraud, Theft, Contempt. Yes it is going to be a long weekend.

I think all the paying file hosts will close their programs to pay uploaders for a while before long. No one is going to risk their fortunes or prison time for anyone to watch a movie, use a program, or listen to music.

Everyone stop for a moment and read the next paragraph then reply.

If you were paid for uploading and the law came to your door over it with a arrest warrant what would you do? Forget they can not get you cause you live here or there, we know from Mega that means nothing and those people that got arrested have/had money to get out of trouble, do you?

Tbh, I wouldn't be suprised.

Loads of people here profit from warez. Where are peoples morals thesedays? :'(

*Then again... so do I... I'm now I hypocrite =D*

Really, I was just kidding, but in all honesty, people are ignorant if they don't think the FBI lurks WJunction from top to bottom. That being said, to my knowledge I don't think WJunction has anything on it that is necessarily breaking the law.

@Raymond

If it is legal there are no issues, correct?

However you, me, and everyone else reading this thread knows 95% of the stuff uploaded to paying hosts is not legal or infringes on another persons copyright.

The sooner we all admit that much the easier it becomes to really discuss the fact that this is a big deal because of the money involved

Maybe not for the site owners but how about all those earnings screen shots? That is incriminating evidence and many people do not block their payment processor account names to provide even more evidence.

Global prosecution could be coming soon for the masses based off what happened this week. I think that has many peoples attention that are thinking about more then the money from downloads.

I would be very cautious if you profit from warez right now.

Mr. Moral , try to see evan bigger picture . piracy is not killing anyone , no one dead cause of the piracy , no one stayed hungry cause of the piracy . nothing big happend cause of the piracy . they lost some money , they are already liveingl ike kings , have millions of dollars .

piracy is like robin hood , we are "stealing" from rich ppl .

yea i know what are u gonna say , i am a cash whore bla bla bla , if that is your only argument , so it be !

What about the loss of jobs in the industry? Only some are rich, not everyone. ;)

I was talking about the site owners. The average, lazy and stupid uploaders would be screwed if the fbi decided to crack down on them. (Unless theyre outside of US jurisdiction I guess, that's possibly a different story)

Hi - my name is Gideon and I am an 'Uploader'

My first taste of 'Uploading' was a small one. I only did it as a social activity but then I became addicted.

At first I only uploaded enough to pay for my own addiction. As time went by I started doing more and more. Now, I am a full blown addict. I can't help myself.

I remember the good ol' days when I would do it just to get through the night. It didn't cost as much then either. I didn't have to convert my earnings from dollars to rapids or anything else - it was a simple thing. Rapid rewards = a stylish cap or RC Helicopter and a free month of service.

Now it's so complicated and expensive. I have to look over my shoulder everywhere I go in VirtualNetWorld.

I need a fix - I need it bad - the bugs are starting to crawl on me again - oh please make it stop!

I'm waiting and hoping for an 'Intervention' - please, someone make it stop - make them go away...

;)

The MU case seems to make it clear that if you are in another country they will still pursue you if you make it on their radar, field of view, or otherwise become known to them. This could be as easy as a court ordered release of PP, AP, Payoneer, or other payment processors records.

The game has changed recently, to survive you must adapt.

Depends if you are in a country with an extradition treaty with the USA
