You need to change max file size to 1gb for free users. Today there is so much HD content and you'll never become a serious hoster with this limitation.

The other problem I have is the slow ftp/RU upload to EU!! Its too slow! Hotfile and fileserve are both located in the US and they have good upload speeds.

I also use Gbit EU server and the fastest way is using RU with FileSonic Premium (I can upload to FSO at 60MB/s and then forwards the links)

Anyway some EU better infraestructure will open the doors of FilePost to EU-based uploaders. As far as i know this improvement is scheduled, we need patience & 1GB limit for freebies improve could make us grow (Both Host & Uploaders Stats)

Why you don't have "Premium referral link" at premium banner alike Filesonic or Wupload? Webmaster need it to sell premium account.

The link http://filepost.com/makemoney/xxxxx/ is a link for our referral program - it allows you to refer new partners to us and earn from their revenue, it does not work for calculating premium sales. Still we will consider your suggestion about the similar link for premium purchases.

Have you seen the error that was returned during the upload? Point your mouse over Error message - you will see the message returned by FileSonic. So please check your account at FileSonic.
 
@FilePost you need to work on remote upload so it starts quicker... one time it works fast one time it goes 1% in 1 minute...

We constantly monitor remote upload and check the queue. Some delays with the start may happen sometimes, however we do our best to prevent that and make the remote upload work as stable as possible.

As you understand, too many factors are involved into remote upload - status of the account/service/servers you upload from, availability of the files uploaded, and lots more. Sometimes hostings change the way of giving files away - all that should be carefully monitored.

hi xyzu . If u are owner of a domain and verified on FP make sure to link

in that format

http://filepost.com/makemoney/######/

and not http://filepost.com/ (without ref no)

even if the domain gets verified.

Was confused also about this ref.links they have (non premium like).

We clear this with FilePost so put everywhere the ref.no ###### (whatever u have)

It is just a different format B-) they have (that's why we were confused too :facepalm:)

no, I think Xyzu want have link premium sale because when someone click on link premium sale, he can get 60% sale + 5-15% domain sale alike Filesonic.
I think premium sale really need for webmaster, and they can sale premium acc without upload file :)
 
@javlite probably u are right :) thought was a confusion about ref link how to use it which one is it etc. etc.

FP already replied to him and taking his suggestion into consideration.
