That and hosting the main site and the files on the same server = bad idea.

Also, Apache to serve files = bad idea.

Overall, good idea, but poorly planned execution.

hey , how big size of file is supported ? i am looking for an alternative of jumbofiles.com , but i will only give the site a try if :- DOWNLOAD speed is unlimied , max upload file( whatever ext , like mkv/avi/rar ) is atleast 2gb , storage space for registered users should be 500gb , download acc supported with resume link capability, and hot linking of files are allowed.
