I see a lot of people here asking simple questions with relatively simple answers, and people offer to help, but request money for it. So.. here I am, I'm not the best coder in the world, but I know my way around vBulletin, so I'm here to offer my services. I can help modify skins, fix issues, find mods, etc. All I ask of you is a thanks, donations are always nice but not required.

So, as long as you give me a detailed description of what you want, with proper info, I'm here to help. :) <3

Hopefully some people can vouch for me if you're scared I'm going to take over your site. >.> I've been a member here for a while now and would like to give back to the community.

Your problem is here:

$config['MasterServer']['PASSWORD_HIDDEN'] = '';

Instead, it should be:

// ****** MASTER DATABASE USERNAME & PASSWORD ******
// This is the username and password you use to access MySQL.
// These must be obtained through your webhost.
$config['MasterServer']['username'] = 'USERNAMEOFDATABASE';
$config['MasterServer']['password'] = 'PASSWORDOFDATABASE';
 
Hello Exel,

do you know how can i change my vB Blog Url and its blog entry URL?
My current blog URL is domain.com/forum/blogs/
and I want to change it to domain.com/blogs/

Hm, I'm not sure if that'd work as it most likely calls the global.php file and some other vBulletin one, maybe editing the index.php of the blog, but I'm not sure, you'd have to edit a lot of files.

You can definitely do something like what xda-developers.com did, integrate Wordpress with vBulletin, I think that's a great site. So, maybe you might want to take a look at that. :)
 
I am really scared for each update of vB ever time i get some what problems

recently from 4.1.10 to 4.1.11 i got many array problems, enhanced uploading is not working , array in reputations bar's , array in birthday user's display and style choosing.I can't delete my modded mobile style :( ....

before updating how to clean my previous problems ? because same problems are on updated version too :(

I always install vB via putty because my database is large
