If it's from FileSonic then the "Affiliates" is probably just en email template grammatical error.

I'm surprised more filehosts do not send these out, I know in other industries it's quite
common to randomly verify affiliate traffic as a ways to prevent fraud.

If it's really form them just send a them a few links. I understand you feel like they're
just trying to find your traffic sources, but i'm sure they have bigger fish to fry

u got max earning from filesonic,so they investigating that downloads are from any sites or a fake like using rapidleech or any other thing to increase earning and nothing else,if u got earning from leagl process,not tried to increase money using fake method then ur payment will be clear and u will get payout,dnt wry.

If they found and think you're cheating or involved in some non permitted activity they won't ask for you an explanation they just kick you .So,don't worry and don't respond to this mail.

it's not fake.

this happens mainly to users who spread teen or child pr0n.

not saying you did that, but from my experience these mails get sent mainly to people sharing and posting the highly illegal sort of files.

what the hell is going on ?
and in removed folder it says Digital Fingerprint

Digital Fingerprint is a brand new awesome anti-piracy technology! FileSonic won several awards because of this. Its like a fingerprint of a file! You can make copies, but ALL fingerprints will remain the same.
You can try changing the MD5 of the file. See what happens.

re-upload these files with a different filename.

Won't help mate, if you change your clothes, and your SSN, you still have the SAME fingerprint.
