We can't change. Look great hosts like fileserve.com and filesonic.com are using this feature too. Your downloaders have a problem on them too ?

But yeah, remote uploading is actually really slow now.. The remote upload queue normally just takes seconds, but now it takes like 30 sec per queue position or something..
