Don't get host from XSServer.Eu

I'd like to say I was with xsserver.eu for a month. They were fine, towards the end they had to move my files to a dif hdd or something some down time. The owner helped me out a lot, I had an unmanaged VPS and he almost made it managed :)

I had some connection problems with the host so I am not continuing with them. This is on my end ISP related.

Would like to thank Xsserver.eu for the help with the server.
 
Great pisoj he said that you made the thread telling that don't get host from XSServer.Eu and later you are telling that it is good.
 
Hello everyone i use XSSERVER, ''june'' is my second month , and dont have any downtime from this 60 days , and the server is fast !!
Im really surprise with this post.
 
We will provide refund to those clients who faced the hard disk failure have you seen any one posting "xsserver.eu didn't refund my payment". And I can understand the hardwork while making a site but if you do a hardwork why dont you do the small work of backups aswell ? And what do you mean by "My point is just change your host from where you have bought"

I completely support XSSERVER, even though im not his client.

Hosts aren't here to take care of your HD/Data. Most dont, only a chosen few do.

If the service is unmanaged and the host says they dont take backups, i dont think you can hold them liable for that at all. Atleast they tried to retrieve it.

For my clients, if we do face a HD crash (touch wood that we dont) i cant be held liable, unless the client has paid for some sort of backup plan, only then i will be incharge of the situation, and this is why not many people do backups, they are just lazy in my opinion.

By reading what you're saying to him on live chat you don't care remember they're humans just like us so threat them with respect no matter what the issue is as what XSServer is saying HDD failure can happen at anytime I've been with a few hosting providers were they had HDD Failure were unable to cover some of my website that were hosted with them. On the other note I don't blame XSServer I blame you reason why is that you're reliable for this cause you didn't take the time to backup your vps server aleast XSServer was very nice enough to try to help get your data restored. This might be able to teach you a lesson to always keep a backup of your data on your local machine I agree with XSServer 100% there are plenty of remote backups services out there.

XSServer was very nice when I visited there live support chat to ask about do they allow vps resellers do VPS Reseller get access to SolusVM Panel he was very nice enough to even setup a test vps server showing that I'll have the functions to suspended/unsuspended a vps server. I'll be choosing them for my next month project I've coming up.

wow wow...i see xsserver banner in header...i thin they good..but with this review..i think i change my mood becouse before i need order in there coz i see plan and price is good...thanks for this info

Piss poor attitude Ryan.

Instead of taking that stand you should setup a default cron job for all your customers doing the backup, zipping and sending to their hotfile account using ftp.

Most don't do it because they are noobs and do not know how. Or have not been informed of how easy it is to do.

They would only have to change hotfile login and account info in the cron.

This would take you 5 minutes to setup and test and give you enormous respect and credibility from your customers.

This should be standard for all hosting. Good will and client referrals are any businesses best sales tool.
 
Learning to use forum software is nothing like learning the intricacies of linux.

I know you were just making a joke. Otherwise I could say that you should learn PHP/JAVA and all the other languages that are used in operating forums.

But since there is no lisvo.com I guess you are speculating. No real world business skills.
 
i ordered hosting from them like half a month ago, can i refund it back? geez, anyone there who wants to share hosting? <_<
