I use it for personal purpose. Mostly I use torrents for downloading old movies. Sometimes I look for a software or a game or maybe a book in torrents.

I remember using Ares or Aros back in 2002 or 2003 LUL :D
I remember a time when I use to download 1 damn song 1 hour! :D Ouuuh happy times man ...

Anyway, I havent used torrent for a long long time, I'm not sure why... I guess the reason is, everything is so touchable today for everyone, it's not like it use to be, if you need something you go to torrent, music, games, movies, softvares, books etc

All I know is that, some people make crazy ammount of money on torrent sites lol :D

I do use torrents through Rpnet.biz, download the torrent to their servers then download to my PC using IDM at full speed.

torrents are so outdated, they used o be good for sending big files to friends but if it's just one it's easier to upload to a site or a upload site like mega.nz (megaupload.com before) and they'd get the files faster. But saying that people still use them I suppose for other purposes.

Why they are outdated? I still download because they are better than filelockers and they provide 1080p with fast speed.

No-one i know use torrents so outdated in my opinion, just like VHS and dvd's, some people still use them but most people buy and use blu-ray or digital UV.

That's funny. Don't get me wrong, I get what you're trying to say and why you're saying it but stating that BitTorrent is outdated is pretty dumb. HTTP and centralization will be outdated long before BitTorrent and decentralization are. When the last filehost shuts its doors torrents will still be here. If you want to share or download big files with the same ease as filehosts but without restrictions, centralization or DMCA bullshit use IPFS. The main reason people use filehosts for sharing their stuff is because they get paid for it (affiliate programs). The moment someone links IPFS filesharing with a crypto-currency reward system like http://steemit.com/, https://d.tube/ (which stores its videos on IPFS), https://www.dlive.io/, etc they are dead in the water.

But with Torrents you need seeds otherwise the large download will still take forever.

Yes, I use it for movies and games.
That's where Kodi comes in.
