Hello everyonr =)

Well after a looong time ive think ive got a really nice design that i am happy with, but i want to know DO YOU LIKE IT? :P

Btw it is a vbulletin skin design :)

Heeh yeah, i am currently changing the size and font because noticed that myself when it was coded :/

Look at that, Sandin0 already said it..

Just because it has the same colors as T1D doesn't mean it's an exact copy.. Why do everyone have to compare shit? Why can't they just leave a nice, truthful comment.

I did post a nice truthful comment.

I said it looks like that1design. and to be honest it would have to since storming did also have a similar name to it, so wouldn't the styles be the same?

It is nice, just reminds me of those designs even though i haven't seen them all.


also @ storming, i said it looks kind of like* (i forgot like sry) a copy of that1design.


i am sorry for stating my opinion? even the other kid said som1 will say it, b/c obviously he had the same opinion.

I tried to state something nice, not like i said "it looks like shit, fail attempt".
 
Okay Sandin0 it was truthful, but why does everything have to be compared? Like, same colors and that's about it.. The name is similar yes, but This1Style, then That1Design.. They different and hardly similar..

well b/c it seems like storming is getting his ideas from there and just modifying it a bit.

It's fine to look at other designs and make it look like your own (thats how everyone starts) storming just has to find his own unique look / touch to it

from that one it still needs a lot of work, but its a decent style :)
 
Everyone starts with a need of inspration, and he's getting his from T1D.. Doesn't mean he's copy then exact style.. Just the colors.

Look at all the other vB skins, are they compared to T1D? No, there not.. People here are so stubborn when it comes to these things.

i'm not being stubborn.
to be honest i just saw that1designs vb skins when i first joined WJ.
i wasn't comparing them, they just DO look similar and it looks like that is where he gets his "inspiration" as you say from. It's not a bad thing, yes those styles are good b/c the guy has his own unique touch.
storming still has yet to find his.

i'm not trying to dis him or compare anything, just trying to help him out sheesh

he wanted and opinion and i gave it to him.
 
To be honest i havent copied his designs, we both design in the same techie way, which thousands of people do.

I see no design in those colours, Layout, or anything. only thing that is alike is the style which is a more technical design.
 
Like I said earlier everyone compares every skin to T1D. If a skin has the same color it is compared to T1D. I'm getting tired of T1D skins tbh, every noob uses them now and they are "burned" out so to speak. If Dominic designs a skin that doesn't look like his previous designs then I will be impressed but im not atm.

- the copyright is at the top... wtf?
- the navigation font is too big
- the search box too big
- remove the outer glow on the slogan and use a better font
- nice choice of colours

not a bad attempt
you were obviously inspired by that1design. try not to copy dominic's style too much.

Your obv following in the footsteps of another designer but thats not a problem! you learn and progress by learning from others and your mistakes!

Tip: try be more creative! Unique is the key my friend!
 
It's all the same concept, nothing unique about the theme at all.

Just look at the font, colours, layout, it's all roughly the same shit.

Yes i'm being harsh, but i'm saying how it is.
