But for me GOD exists so I believe that GOD will one day punish all those who fucked up my life :'( So for example if he doesnt exist I will have to go and will have to punish all those idiots at my own X-( and there will be nothing like Good everyone will be Evil Everyone will just try to make his life better by any means So i will do Burgling, Murdering and many more things todo =) if there is no GOD who will punish me :)) .
Mr.Sandvik hmm what stops you from doing those things? Just wanna know please answer :D

This is an endless discussion that nobody can win. I do not understand why mods are allowing such threads. Its beyond my mind that the thread starter is a mod XD

Most people don't deserve to live. Almost everyone does wrong. He never said he would protect us from everything. He would just help guide us in the right direction. Even if your life is the worst or natural disasters happen and kill everyone you know it shouldn't steer you away from believing it should bring you closer. I think that by these things happening and believers still having faith is more important than anything else. You forget that us believers have another power lurking around as well. The devil helps people to do wrong and also probably has the power to make bad things happen in the world as well.

Your absolutely right. This discussion has been a conflict as far back as any book or stone carving can remember. The key to all of this I think is to come together. It doesn't matter what you call your god as far as religions go. What matters is you do good throughout your life and be kind to others. In my opinion the 10 commandments are probably the greatest rules ever written. Not only are they common sense, but would make for a better world all together if everyone were to follow them.

There are no wars in this world that are good. No one can say they fight for their god. He doesn't want you to fight.

Most of the people that replied here overthink things. If you bother enough to start studying and researching about religious related subjects, you'll come to find that there really is an answer to all of your questions and there will always be another question. I'm not saying it's a waste of time but it's best to just have faith after a certain point.

I however do believe that it is very very VERY wrong to be brought up in a world were the specific religion your parents have is automatically "hardwired" (like Loget said) into you. I would love to see the outcome of a person who chooses his own religion at the age of 18. (18 because that's probably around the time when most people start to truly figure themselves out. I don't want to hear any BS crap that you were 11 and figured out the universe.)

Not everything in this forum has to be about warez and Katz downloads lol. 8-)

And yuh I agree with whoever said that our brains have a limited understanding of this topic, for example an ant will never understand how to program in C# and we won't ever understand God.

Scientists only guess and make up elaborate theories about how the Universe was made, something people don't understand is that the big band theory is just that a theory. I could say the universe was created by yellow monkeys but I wouldn't be able to prove it, it would always remain a theory.

That does not mean i think everyone else who does are idiots im happy that people have faith in something like god but i dont

Their have been points in my life where i think about it and consider praying or w.e but i dont think it would ever help as i never would really believe in it i have been to church to see if it would change my mind because i would rather have an open mind instead of just saying i dont and thats it but didnt convince me anymore
 
Nope, i don't believe..

I used to believe a little bid when i was a little boy, then shit happened to my family, i prayed for help but no response.. I even made bets with that guy.. He was too pussied-out to show up. So i lost all belief. :P

Now that im "old", ive realized you have to be ignorant and kinda easy-to-fool (in other words, a fuckin' moron) to have a strong believe in something that you never saw, never felt, never heard, but just got fed by your parents. I find religions another way of making war and i believe they where only created by the leaders to gain.

As in something like a god, yea, i believe.. Something must rule this world.. karma, destiny, chaos... who knows!
