Difference Between shared Or Managed WordPress Hosting

Currently, my websites are hosted on a shared server and I am almost spending $50/month but I am tired of quality and speed because support is not good, I am trying to move on Managed WordPress hosting, which should I choose? cloud or managed? I am considering Cloudways or my hosting.

It sounds like you only need shared hosting, cloudways looks overpriced and over complicated ordering options for your needs, where are you hosted atm.
