People that hate him as a person are idiots. How can you hate someone you don't even know personally? I don't even hate his music or the way he looks.. I really don't have anything against him. But what I do have a problem with is the influence he's had on the world. His name is mentioned on EVERY music video/song on youtube. His name is constantly being used as a measure of bad quality but people keep failing to realize that they are just promoting him.

And for those who say that 100K is nothing for artist of his caliber. I agree. But now let's look at facts, he's like how old? 16-18? And he donated 100K? Ok cool.
Now, simple question, how many stars are there who have 5x more cash than him, have been in this bussines for way more years than him and donated similar amount? How many stars are there who simply grabbed all they could and didn't gave anything in return? Yeah, list is not THAT long.
Teenager donating 100K to the school is nothing? I don't think so.
And like cvrle said, it's not about money. Those kids went crazy when they saw him, they will probably remember that day forever.
I'm not defending him, I don't even listen to his songs nor do I care who's he dating or if he likes MILFS, guys, animals or w.e, just saying how it is.

I simply can't grasp the fact that there is people who can actually hate someone who they:
1. Don't know personally
2. Never had ANYTHING with a person.
3. Never communicated with him.
4. Never been pushed to listen his songs, or see him, forcefully (as a torture).
5. Know NOTHING about that person.
6. Never had any bad influence on their life.
7. Who basically represents NOTHING in their lives, is not a threat or competition in any possible way.
I don't understand, people are not being forced to watch him, or listen him, I've NEVER heard ANY of his songs, except the one on the video, that I've posted.
I don't like him, or hate him. He didn't harm anyone, or did anything bad, so, why hate?
Just think rationally. There is no cause for hate, unless we add jealousy factor.
Only thing I can come up with is, that your ego is stressed, by this kid, that he is being a bigger man from you, and he achieved everything you are dreaming, and, you hate the fact that someone is living your dream.
Girls are screaming his name, he's full of cash, he's young, pretty, handsome, he have talent, luck, and was in the right place at the right time. All, that you aren't. Or you are, but you never had luck to be on his place.
