Is there any benefit/caveats to host websites/blogs to servers that are far away from me? I am arguing with my colleague about this. I want him to host his websites in internationally recognized web servers, but he wants to host in here (where we live, I believe our providers are not as much efficient and support friendly as international web hosting solution providers)

I am getting a cheap colocation offer that includes tons of free bandwidth from atlantic.net for $99 and If I buy this server then I will turn it into several VPS servers and will sell to others. They provide reboot service too. So, should I buy this and encourage my colleague to host in my server?

google sometimes take in consideration the ip of the hosting server when crawling the website. other benefit would be the cost if you get cheaper servers internationally. where are your major visitors from? if they are entering on the website from your country, it would be the best if you would get a server closer to your country or in your country to get faster loads of your website.

Depends how good connection (think bandwidth, latency) you need to your server, if you're planning to upload a lot of large size files or planning to host gaming server, then best option is host in your country as internet connection within your country's boundaries always will be better.

Hello guys, I already asked it, but no1 ansered me.
I need your opinion, because I'm new a this. And my English isn't very good.
I'm looking for a good hosting, a good virtual machine, and I want to know if there are other better than Linkbucks, to pay us for "PPD". Finally I need something to protect my files.

I was thinking about: Cyberlocker, Contabo, linkbucks, safelinking.
And I want to know what do you think about Lumfile.

I want to host: Warez, Movies, Porn.
I need a great HD capacity, and an ilimited bandwidth.

What do you suggest?
Can I ask you for your help? Thanks

I believe you'll be able to find a better deal than those that your local providers may offer. There's no reason to host a website locally, unless this has an unbeatable advantage (obviously, it doesn't).
