database error

hi guys and gals

sorry if there is a topic on this but i need urgent help because ive had vbulletin installed and i got database error come up on the main page of the url.Please help as i dont know anything about vbulletin

Have you really installed vbulletin ? or you just placed the files in public_html folder ?
If you haven't
goto http://yoursite.com/install/install.php
This will start the vb installer.
To install vb you will need a mysql database.
If you have already installed VB and getting db error then check your config.php in includes folder or vb

before using install command configure your config.php.new make it config.php and change put the database name , username and password and upload it n run the install command and follow the steps (P.S. comfig.php.new u will get inside include folder)
