This might seem a bit harsh ...
The skin is overused ... We've seen thousands of vb using that skin (why is it everybody believes warez sites have to use dark skin? :p)
The default logo of the skin is still here ... change it ...
The marquee makes the forum look very unprofessional.
Not to mention the shoutbox and honestly, I don't like the music player :S.
And finally all these DDL buttons will not get you far ... If you want to submit to katz, 4 button will do ...
Bummer, I was really hoping for something good.
I don't mean to be harsh either...but the way that forum is set up, almost makes a perfect guide on what not to do to a warez forum.
Please, please change your skin, and if you don't, at least do your logo in something other than paint... (pointing out the quality...I don't know what program you used)
Why did you put the shoutbox, in a forum description? Do you not know any basic html? The shoutbox mod comes with custom information on how to install it properly.
Also, the multimedia player looks very junky.
Your marquee doesn't even blend with the site...you need to take that down immediately if you want any hope of saving peoples desire to stay.
Once again... You are putting the wrong things in the forum category title/description....such as your affiliates. That whole set up looks terrible.
You also have 17 random affiliate/topsite buttons, 8 unorganized external links to various sites and while you are at it, you are throwing in an ad at the bottom of the page.
NO!
To do list:
1. Get a new style
2. Get a catchy logo, maybe even include a slogan of some sort.
3. If you want a shoutbox, install it they way it is meant to be installed, as an exterior application from your forum categories.
4. Remove that marquee...the only use of a marquee on your site I would suggest would be a marquee at the very bottom of your page with all of your affiliate/topsite buttons and your links to other sites in it. This will put all of these in one section, and this will really clean some things up.
5. REMOVE THE MULTIMEDIA PLAYER - Without a doubt remove it from the main page, this affects the loading time, especially for users still under slower connections. If you still want it somewhere, host it on its own page, and just put a link in the navbar to it or something...this way when the members come looking for something, they will have quicker, less cluttered access to the materials.
I am sorry if I sound rude, I am only trying to criticize you constructively. The site has potential... just work on some things.
