I'm quite curious if there are any updates myself. It was pretty active here for about an hour, then nothing. I'm not worried, but curious. My clients are freaking out because their sites are offline.

Unfortunately I do not have any new news to report. I am still waiting on the data center manager in Moscow. At the moment it is 6am. It should only take a few more hours till he gets into work.

I have already put in place a backup solution for the future. The backups will be stored on hard drives that I have in my possession.

A failure had to happen at some point. This has been a learning experience for me. From now on backups will be taken regularly. I will not let this happen again.
 
Are we thinking the hard drives failed? Do you think there might be data loss at some point? I guess what I'm asking is what do you think went down and what are we and you going to lose out of it?

I have no worries no matter what happens, but I'm just curious.

At the moment that is what it looks like, however I have not had someone who actually knows what he is doing look at it. (Waiting for the manager). Depending on how bad it is, there might be data loss. The worse possible case is that all data is worse. The best possible case is that there is an error with the hard drive, but the data can be backed up.

It does. Gives me some hope. Luckily my important clients all back up their sites almost nightly, so I'm not too worried about it. WHMCS cron jobs and my sites are fine.

I am STILL waiting for someone from the data center to reply to me. I am just as irritated with them as I am sure most of you are.

I am not going to run away like mosts hosts would at this point. If you are willing to wait then you will not need to look for another host.
