Hey guys,
At the moment I have lots of spare time. So I'm offering to code any PHP scripts for a really cheap price. I have another thread that's dedicated to PSD to HTML and has dear prices, but this is just for PHP Scripts and will be cheap.

Anything from a shoutbox, to user registration, I can include MySQL aswell, and user-friendly settings e.g. config file.

Anyway, short and sweet. Contact me for a quote if you need anything.

you want me to make a phpbb script, for YOUR forum, im not going to install phpbb on my own website, in my own time, and then re-code it to suit your forum. you want a phpbb script, you have to give someone access to your admincp. i wasn't going to code a plugin, i was going to edit your codes, so it was a script just for you. you then said don't worry about it, so i said okay, and you start using abusive language, then i'm going to do it back.

your review doesn't hurt my reputation, as it's pointless.

i told you what i want, so i am expecting from you to give me a code then pay you for the job. installing phpbb or testing or .... is your problem !!!

i don't care about your reputation mate, i just know that you couldn't do my job!
 
I couldn't do your job because you had a problem with the way I do it, don't like it, toughen up, or find someone else.
 
you couldn't do my job because the way you do it smells like a scammer, not a programmer , if warez-bb owner asks you to make him a script would you ask him to give you his admincp access? lol

theres nothing wrong with that :) sometimes acp is needed for testing a code in real time
 
Testing a script locally is common sense. Especially for a customer. Test it locally, ask from the customer to install it, if he runs into trouble, help him out (he might give acp access then), if not, collect fees and FIN. :)

A professional coder would not test it locally,
they would get onto the actual site their coding for, some servers have different settings and specs, some errors may be caused by a server, some may be caused by coding.

In the real business, a customer would understand the need to acces an admin panel.
 
I've dealt with professional coders before and they do test it locally. If an error pops up due to different settings and specs of a server, it's easy to fix. A PHPBB mod probably wouldn't run into said errors if it were tested locally on a local PHPBB forum.

But anyway, this is none of my business, I just wanted to express my opinion.

I doubt iL < had any malicious intention anyway. :) (GL with your sales man)
 
He is right about testing on the live server beacuse installing shit on localhost you have to make a mass amount of topics/replies/ complete all configs etc

this is a mission but on alive site its all already done and makes life easier.

What's so odd about not giving admin access to a person you spoke for 1 minute to? I agree on CyberMind.. install it locally.. Or I guess, the coders I've dealt with are not professional :P
