cPanel or DirectAdmin

I like cPanel (thats the only ive used)

DirectAdmin is really light on the server (costs more than cpanel tho, 30$ month )

Well if you are thinking to start shared hosting or want to host your websites then Cpanel is the great option.

With no doubt, most people use cPanel. Although I prefer DirectAdmin. Not as messy and does it's job.

If you really need a panel, DA... I don't like cPanel at all. DA does a pretty good job of installing services without a whole lot extra.

I have had a cpanel server for over 2 years, its ok and easy to do things but...
if someone else wasn't paying hosting that covered the costs i wouldn't use a panel like my other servers.


Unless your planning on selling hosting or have multiple sites don't use a panel.
