Converting Web Traffic Into Sales

So, you can have alot of people going though your website, but turning those people, those potential customers into actual paying customers isn't as simple as having a product and displaying it.
You have to make your website work for you, which is something that i have been working on for a while now...
Thought i would make a thread where people could post there ideas and talk about what helps and whats wrong with sites that they have seen or that they own themselves.

For the conversion of web traffic into your business leads its very difficult. For this conversion you have make trust about your business and their product which may you going shells.

I understand that it is hard, and i wasn't saying that i had a problem doing it. This is more of a discussion, i was hoping people would direct questions towards each other ask what they do to increase the traffic/conversion on there sites... then maybe link there sites and invite people to see what they think and what they could do to increase the traffic and conversion in there sites.
maybe a different layout etc. or different advertising.
